Bichon Frise Puppies Temperament

It is crucial before purchasing a Bichon puppy to thoroughly research their known temperaments and behavior to judge whether their behaviour is suitable for the household. Different breeds of puppies will possess entirely different temperaments that are compatible with different personalities of owners and different household needs; thus, compatibility is a crucial and large component when considering which puppy is best for the family. Keep in mind that although Bijon Frise puppies are adorable, appearance does not pertain to compatibility.

Generally speaking, Bichon Frise puppies are wonderful to have around with their easy-going and playful nature. This little ball of fluff is bound to win over many hearts with their adorable features. In addition, their easy going temperaments make them easy to integrate into families with little children if well-trained. If they are not trained properly, these puppies can become snappy when harassed constantly, but this does not generally pose as a problem due to the patience of this breed of dog. Bichon Frise puppies, generally, have stable attitudes and friendly behaviors, and love playing with small children.

Bijon Frise puppies love to be the center of attention, and are naturally gentle and loving pets that make wonderful additions to the family. Bijon Frise puppies are playful by nature and enjoy playing with children or exploring and running around the house; they will always find something to do, so that they never get bored! They are naturally intelligent and are capable of picking up new tricks easily although they are rather stubborn, and more often than not, will attempt to stick to old routines. Thus, housebreaking and toilet training can be a problem at times. Due to their need for attention, these puppies respond well to praises, especially during training. It is important to constantly praise a Bichon puppy for a job well done during training to establish what is expected of them.

The problem arises when Bijon Frise puppies are left alone. Bichon Frise puppies have a higher tendency to develop separation anxiety compared to adult dogs, and cannot be left alone for a long period of time; if left alone, they will become anxious and develop mental issues. These puppies also tend to be shy and need to be trained to avoid being timid.

Bichon puppies’ temperament also includes incredible abilities as a watchdog, and incredible agility. From a young age, Frise puppies make great watchdogs although they are not aggressive; instead, these puppies rely on barking to draw attention to any coming harm. They are incredibly alert and attentive to their surrounding environment, and can prove to be a great help in homes with children through their non-aggressive nature.
